High School Musical's Vanessa Hudgens hangs out with new friends in this summer's musical treat Bandslam.
Will is used to being bullied or completely ignored by his schoolmates, so when Charlotte ' the cool and popular cheerleader ' starts inviting him to hang out, he's stunned. Impressed by his eclectic knowledge of music, Charlotte, a gifted singer-songwriter, asks Will to manage her fledgling rock band. Meanwhile, romance brews between Will and Sa5m (Vanessa Hudgens) who plays a mean guitar and has a voice to die for. The end goal: go head to head against Charlotte's egotistical musician ex-boyfriend at a regional battle-of-the-bands.
